AGENCY REFERRALS
Queen Anne Helpline is part of the King County Community Resources Network and Health and Human Service Alliance. However, you must live within the Seattle City limits to be eligible to receive our referral services.
The most comprehensive referral resource of social service agencies that can be reached by telephone is at the phone number 211. If you need assistance, your first step should be to dial 211 and speak with a Referral Specialist. There is no charge for dialing 211 from any telephone. The Referral Specialist will ask you where you live and what your needs are and then refer you to agencies that may be able to meet your needs. It is to your advantage to have writing materials available when making this call.
If you live within zip codes 98109 or 98119, Queen Anne Helpline may be one of the agencies that the 211 Referral Specialist suggests you call.
When contacting the Helpline, our staff will ask if you have contacted other agencies, that operate within our service area, for assistance. Depending on your answer and needs, you may be instructed to make a few additional calls to other agencies. You will need to call the Helpline again, and tell us the names of the persons you spoke with at the other agencies and give us permission to call the other agency case managers in order to coordinate the effort to meet your needs. We speak with other agencies about your circumstances only in our efforts to provide you the assistance you need and help you to receive the maximum benefits available. All interagency communication is confidential.
The Queen Anne Helpline coordinates with member agencies listed in the "211" directory and the "Where To Turn" and "Community Resources On-line(CRO)" directories.
