The Queen Anne Helpline provides financial and other basic needs services plus several special assistance programs. Eligibility for services is based on financial status, zip code, and emergency hardship situations. Clients will be asked to provide a personal ID, proof of residency and additional documentation.

THANKSGIVING GROCERIES FOR SENIORS: We are currently working with All Saints Church collecting nonperishable food items to include in Thanksgiving grocery bags we will deliver to low-income seniors in our area. A full list of the food items is below. If you are collecting food for this service, please call the Helpline office for more information or to make drop off arrangements: 282-1540. We appreciate any and all donations, and encourage donors to fill a bag with one of each item.

Services offered only to residents living within 98109, 98119, and 98199 include:

  • Rent and deposit assistance
  • Utility payments
  • Emergency food assistance
  • Weekend Food for Kids
  • Continuing education and job training support
  • Thanksgiving groceries for seniors – we are currently collecting the following food items for this program:
    • Can of vegetables (corn, green beans, etc.)
    • Package of mashed potatoes
    • Package of stuffing/dressing
    • Can of cranberry sauce
    • Can/jar of gravy
    • Box of instant oatmeal
    • Package of cookies
    • Shelf-stable milk
    • Cans of individual serving juice

Services offered to all Seattle residents include:

  • Men’s and women’s clothing bank
  • Emergency food bags and non-perishable food pantry
  • Personal hygiene products
  • Metro bus tickets
  • Targeted referrals



Queen Anne Helpline is part of the King County Community Resources Network and Health and Human Service Alliance. We are happy to provide referrals to anyone who calls. Referrals may include: additional social services, medical help, mental health, job training, or financial consultation.
